SHIELD CERAMIC BASE HEMA-FREE 0.5 fl oz/15 ml
Shield Ceramic Base is a hard, long-lasting base coat with a wear time of up to 28 days. It allows for nail extensions of up to 2 mm.
The formula has a stable structure that does not break even on long and soft nails and maintains its shape throughout the entire wear time.
Shield Ceramic Base Clear has a thick consistency that neither drips nor runs into the cuticles. It is self-leveling and allows you to model a perfect nail shape with a very smooth surface.
The base is HEMA-free and causes significantly fewer skin irritations such as itching and redness compared to products containing HEMA.
Shield Ceramic Base Clear cures reliably in LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps.
APPLICATION
Shield™ Ceramic Base Clear is used as an adhesion layer and/or for the builder technique.
Application:
Prepare the nail surface as usual and apply a thin layer of Shield Ceramic Base Clear. Without curing, continue directly with a thicker layer to build an apex (nail curvature). If desired, extensions of up to 2 mm can be applied, or the natural nail can be repaired.
Then let it cure for 30 seconds in an LED or UV/LED lamp or 90 seconds in a UV lamp. Afterwards, apply the desired Shield™ color and the Shield™ Top Coat.
Removal:
File off the modeling completely. Alternatively, most of the material can be filed off and the rest soaked in an acetone remover (e.g., Red Lizard) until the base is completely removed.
