Course: Anatomical Smoothing Bit
The "Anatomical Smoothing Bit" course is a professional in-person training for nail technicians looking to transition from classic and combination techniques to an anatomically correct and predictable approach to cuticle work. The course is based on the layered anatomy of the cuticle and a clearly structured workflow, enabling the safe, reproducible, and professional application of the technique in salon practice.
The course covers a safe machine-based technique that does not require ball bits, flame bits, or cutting instruments. Work is performed using anatomical tools whose shapes correspond to the biological structure of the cuticle: the anatomical pusher, the anatomical smoothing bit with a flat working base, and anatomical separators. Additionally, the course teaches the close-to-skin coating technique (ANDER technique), which allows for clean and controlled work in the cuticle area.
This approach prevents the twisting and shredding of layered skin structures, does not injure the skin, and does not trigger aggressive regeneration. As a result, the proximal nail fold is shaped into a round, stable, and clean form, hangnails and frayed skin disappear, and the cuticle area appears neat and uniform.
After the course, the nail technician will achieve consistently stable results from treatment to treatment, reduce errors and rework, and produce clean enhancements that last 4 to 6 weeks without material flooding the cuticle or creating untidy edges.
The course is aimed at nail technicians who are tired of constantly struggling with skin, fixing mistakes, and masking problems, and who want to transition to a systematic, professional way of working with predictable results.

Day 1 – Anatomical Manicure
• safe machine-based technique without ball bits, flame bits, or cutting instruments
• work with the anatomical pusher
• work with the anatomical smoothing bit with a flat working base
• separation of eponychium, cuticle, and pterygium
• shaping a design-style nail fold along the papillary lines
Day 2 – Coating Technique
• close-to-skin coating with the ANDER technique
• clean work in the cuticle area without material flooding
