PEARL CHROME PIGMENT
The viral glazed look for your nails
This ultra-fine Pearl Chrome Pigment is exactly the pigment you need for the currently trending glazed, pearl, and “glazed donut” look.
What makes it special: The pigment is extremely finely milled. When rubbed in, it creates no coarse glitter texture, and no individual pigment particles are visible. Instead, it coats the nail in a sheer, uniform pearlescent shimmer, creating an exceptionally smooth, elegant, and almost glass-like surface.
Depending on the light, the effect looks elegantly pearlescent, slightly reflective, and beautifully soft.
ONE PIGMENT – COUNTLESS LOOKS
Pearl Chrome can be used over almost any gel polish color.
Over white, milky white, or nude, it creates the popular delicate glazed donut look.
Over pink and natural tones, the effect looks particularly elegant and clean.
Over bold colors, Pearl Chrome transforms the look, giving the color a sophisticated pearlescent shimmer.
Even over dark colors, it creates an entirely new, intense effect.
This allows you to create different designs again and again with just one pigment, without completely covering the underlying base color.
APPLICATION
1. Prepare the color
Apply the desired gel polish color as usual and cure completely.
For an especially beautiful result, the nail surface should be perfectly smooth and even. Pearl Chrome reflects light and can make imperfections more visible.
2. Apply No-Wipe Top Coat
Apply a thin, even layer of No-Wipe Top Coat.
Cure the top coat briefly or “softly” in the UV/LED lamp. The optimal curing time may vary depending on the top coat and lamp used.
3. Apply the pigment
Pick up a very small amount of Pearl Chrome pigment and, immediately after curing, rub it thoroughly into the surface.
Use an applicator, silicone tool, or glove to polish it in until a uniform, smooth, and solid pearl surface is achieved.
Less is often more here: due to the extremely fine pigmentation, a small amount is already enough.
4. Remove excess pigment
Carefully remove any excess pigment with a soft brush.
In particular, there should be no loose pigment residue left on the sidewalls or the free edge of the nail.
5. Prepare the free edge of the nail
For better durability, carefully remove pigment residue from the free edge of the nail using a fine file.
Then, a very small amount of ultrabond/acid-free primer can be applied exclusively to the free edge of the nail.
Let it air-dry briefly.
This step helps the final top coat adhere better to the free edge and can reduce the risk of chipping.
6. Seal
Finally, carefully seal the entire nail with top coat.
Be sure to also fully cap the free edge of the nail.
Cure completely in the UV/LED lamp according to the manufacturer's instructions.
PRO TIP
The secret to a perfect pearl chrome look is not using a lot of product, but rather a perfectly smooth surface, the correct curing time for the no-wipe top coat, and thorough polishing of the pigment.
The finer and more even the surface is prepared, the more beautiful and “liquid” the pearlescent effect will look.
Pearl Chrome – one pigment, countless colors, and exactly the glazed look everyone is currently wanting.
